Robert's areas of practice include Real Estate, Wills and Estates, Powers of Attorney, Consent and Capacity Applications, Corporate Commercial Law, Municipal Law, Property Tax Appeals, Landlord and Tenant, and WSIB Claims.

Robert has experience before the Ontario Court of Justice, the Superior Court of Justice, various Administrative Tribunals and Boards, and City Council and its various Committees, in relation to his areas of practice.

Robert is a member of the Algoma District Law Association, the Board of Directors of the Sault Ste. Marie Enterprise Centre, and the Board of Directors of the Sault Ste. Marie Chamber of Commerce. Robert is also the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Algoma University College Foundation.

Robert is a past member of the Board of Directors of the Sault Ste. Marie Museum, the Board of Directors for Kidshope: Promoting Healthy Lifestyles Inc. and the Homecoming Committee for the City of Sault Ste. Marie.
